Custody Transfer Metering

Sampling Systems

High performance custody transfer, allocation and quality sampling and analysis systems designed to optimize operating profits through accurate water and quality measurement for loss control.

Crude oil sampling for custody transfer, fiscal, allocation or quality measurement purposes should be performed in accordance with sampling standards of ISO 3171, ASTM D 4177, API 8.2 and IP 6.2. These standards dictate a number of key design issues and steps that must be considered to ensure a system fully complies with the standards.
We manufacture a range of fully engineered systems and products for crude oil sampling applications. All products comply with the standards when installed and operated in accordance with the standards. All systems are supplied with a performance warranty that guarantees compliance with the sampling standards even if proved by water injection.

HIPPS

Sensia HIPPS is an independently instrumented system designed with higher integrity compared with PSD and ESD systems suitable for onshore and offshore installations requiring high -integrity pressure protection of downstream systems. A HIPPS is used to prevent a system from exceeding its rated pressure level. The Sensia HIPPS is SIL-3 Certified and incorporates field proven valves and actuators. A HIPPS is considered the barrier between the high and low pressure section of an installation or production facility.

Liquid Ultrasonic Meters

When accuracy and reliability are critical the CALDON family of LEFM Ultrasonic Meters provides the petroleum industry with a durable, stable and low cost-of-ownership measurement option. The three LEFM models - the LEFM 220C, LEFM 240C and LEFM 280C - cover a broad range of measurement demands and allow users to choose just the right amount of metering “horsepower” whether it is for custody transfer, check or allocation metering, or leak detection/line balance applications.

Gas Ultrasonic Meters

Cameron's CALDON 380Ci ultrasonic gas flow meter has Cameron's unique eight-path, dual-plane, cross-path design. Cameron has done extensive testing to prove this meter design is immune from the effects of swirl and velocity profile asymmetry. The 380Ci requires a very small installation footprint and does not require a flow conditioner. The 380Ci gas flow meter is available for pipe sizes 6" and larger and is typically used in custody transfer and other fiscal applications.

Chart Recorders

Cameron’s BARTON Chart Recorders are the industry standard for accurate, reliable measurement and recording of pressure, differential pressure and temperature in a variety of applications. In addition, DP models utilize BARTON rupture-proof bellows DPU as the actuating unit.

DP Cone Meters

The NUFLO DP cone meter is a unique product and technology that provides accurate and repeatable measurement solutions for upstream, midstream, and downstream applications. Key advantages include optimized operations in small spaces, extreme temperatures and diverse conditions.

Flow Computers

The CAMERON flow computer packs the gas, steam, and liquid measurement capabilities traditionally found in large flow computers, into a compact, low-power instrument that operates economically as a stand-alone chart recorder replacement, flow computer, and totalizer or as an integration-ready device for an existing SCADA system.

Turbine Meters
Nuflo Turbine Meters

NUFLO turbine flow meters indicate flow rate and measure total throughput of a liquid line. As liquid flows through the meter and over the rotor, the rotor turns at a speed that is directly proportional to the flow rate. A magnetic pickup senses the rotor blades as they pass and generates an electrical (sine wave) signal. These electrical pulses are then transmitted to the flow measurement readout equipment.

BARTON 7000 Series liquid turbine meters are designed for a broad range of precise liquid measurement applications. Based on more than 40 years of turbine manufacturing experience, this built-to-order series features a range of sizes, materials, bearing systems, and options.

Totalizers and Flow Analyzers

Cameron's NUFLO flow analyzer provides separate, continuous digital displays of flow rate and accumulated flow based on input from a turbine flow meter.

Positive Displacement Meters (Floco)

True industry standards, Cameron's Floco meters are staples in harsh environments that demand consistent, repeatable and rugged performance. Originally designed for raw crude oil production, the Floco F Series meter has proven itself to be a versatile unit that performs easily in a broad range of high viscosity fluids.
